Air filters are the first step to tuning any engine. The principle is simple, the more air you get in the engine, the more power you get out. Ok, so there is obviously more to it than that, but bolting on an induction kit can increase your cars power from 1-2bhp, up to 15bhp (rolling road proven!!) With modern ECU's you don't have to re-map or tune the engine, just bolt the kit on! Even a replacement element alone can add a couple of horses, and you never have to replace it, so they quickly pay for themselves. For the maximum power, you can go for a K&N typhoon kit, or an enclosed intake system like the BMC CDA kits maximising cold air intake.

Performance exhausts are a great way to improve the power, and sound of your car! Even with just a sports exhaust back box, your car can sound like it means business and have a noticeable improvement in power. For the maximum power increase though, a full exhaust system is the way forward. Sports cat, or de-cat pipe (not road legal) and tubular manifold give further power gains. Free flowing exhausts get the gases out of the engine quicker, and help improve power and acceleration, especially at higher revs.
Upgrading your brakes is vital if you have increased your cars power! It is all very well accelerating like an Aston Martin, but if you stop like a shopping trolley, you are going to be in trouble. Ok, Credit given where credit is due... I placed an order with you guys on a Saturday night around 23:30. Needed some brake pads and discs, misunderstood the description on the pads and ordered enough pads for 2 cars... much to my surprise i get an email back within 5 minutes of placing the order... i assumed it was some kind of automated response, it was NOT, it was a personal email from one of the employee's (Dan Garlick) asking if i had meant to order enough pads for 2 cars. WITHIN 5 MINUTES !!! at 23:30 on a Saturday night... I responded that i had misunderstood the description and assumed the pads were sold in pairs not as a full front or rear set to which i received another email again within 5 minutes stating that he would amend the order and process it on Monday, from where it should be dispatched on Tuesday and delivered to me on Wednesday.
