Air filters are the first step to tuning any engine. The principle is simple, the more air you get in the engine, the more power you get out. Ok, so there is obviously more to it than that, but bolting on an induction kit can increase your cars power from 1-2bhp, up to 15bhp (rolling road proven!!) With modern ECU's you don't have to re-map or tune the engine, just bolt the kit on! Even a replacement element alone can add a couple of horses, and you never have to replace it, so they quickly pay for themselves. For the maximum power, you can go for a K&N typhoon kit, or an enclosed intake system like the BMC CDA kits maximising cold air intake.

Performance exhausts are a great way to improve the power, and sound of your car! Even with just a sports exhaust back box, your car can sound like it means business and have a noticeable improvement in power. For the maximum power increase though, a full exhaust system is the way forward. Sports cat, or de-cat pipe (not road legal) and tubular manifold give further power gains. Free flowing exhausts get the gases out of the engine quicker, and help improve power and acceleration, especially at higher revs.
Upgrading your brakes is vital if you have increased your cars power! It is all very well accelerating like an Aston Martin, but if you stop like a shopping trolley, you are going to be in trouble. HardRace tie rod ends are made with high quality alloy steel. All their tie rod ends are produced using CNC turning machines and microprocessor controlled grinders. The ball pins are cold forged, which are subjected to HF induction in order to ensure long life. These tie rod ends are designed to have maximum accuracy, which enables them to sustain extensive load.
Non-stocked hardrace parts have to be ordered in. The order cycle is Monday to Monday (i.e. the weekly orders are placed with HardRace on a Monday, and the delivery arrives in the UK the following Monday) so please allow around 5-9 working days for deliveryIf there are any unexpected delays then one of the team will contact you shortly after processing your order.
