Air filters are the first step to tuning any engine. The principle is simple, the more air you get in the engine, the more power you get out. Ok, so there is obviously more to it than that, but bolting on an induction kit can increase your cars power from 1-2bhp, up to 15bhp (rolling road proven!!) With modern ECU's you don't have to re-map or tune the engine, just bolt the kit on! Even a replacement element alone can add a couple of horses, and you never have to replace it, so they quickly pay for themselves. For the maximum power, you can go for a K&N typhoon kit, or an enclosed intake system like the BMC CDA kits maximising cold air intake.

The above lead set is supplied in 7mm tin plated copper core cable with resisted spark plug ends (now only in black) exactly like the originals. Distributorless / Coil pack or Coil Over (Direct Fire / DI) type ignition systems - i.e. No Coil Lead and in some cases there are less leads in the set than would be normally. e.g. 2 leads for a 4 cylinder and 3 for a 6 cylinder.
