Air filters are the first step to tuning any engine. The principle is simple, the more air you get in the engine, the more power you get out. Ok, so there is obviously more to it than that, but bolting on an induction kit can increase your cars power from 1-2bhp, up to 15bhp (rolling road proven!!) With modern ECU's you don't have to re-map or tune the engine, just bolt the kit on! Even a replacement element alone can add a couple of horses, and you never have to replace it, so they quickly pay for themselves. For the maximum power, you can go for a K&N typhoon kit, or an enclosed intake system like the BMC CDA kits maximising cold air intake.

Performance exhausts are a great way to improve the power, and sound of your car! Even with just a sports exhaust back box, your car can sound like it means business and have a noticeable improvement in power. For the maximum power increase though, a full exhaust system is the way forward. Sports cat, or de-cat pipe (not road legal) and tubular manifold give further power gains. Free flowing exhausts get the gases out of the engine quicker, and help improve power and acceleration, especially at higher revs.
Upgrading your brakes is vital if you have increased your cars power! It is all very well accelerating like an Aston Martin, but if you stop like a shopping trolley, you are going to be in trouble. In case, the 3 point or 4 point rubber bases installed by the manufacturer have to be exchanged accordingly (spare part available from DB agents) in case of corresponding accessories, as automatic shifting, air conditioning etc. However on the front the 3 point or 4point rubber bases must always be used in case of trailer operation (trailer couping) on the rear axle, 3 point rubber basses must always be used.For cars with standard lowering, the indicated lowering will be reduced with the amount of the standard lowering.
All lowering amounts quoted are approximate based on original manufactures figures for standard specification cars. Any vehicle fitted with o.e or any other sports suspension will subsequently have less reduction in ride height than the figures quoted.Lowered sports springs are sold as complete kits and are suitable for standard specification vehicles as listed, and exclude estate, cabriolet, coupe, or any vehicle fitted with self levelling suspension systems unless specifically stated.Sports Dampers are recommended if lowering more than 35-40mm
