Air filters are the first step to tuning any engine. The principle is simple, the more air you get in the engine, the more power you get out. Ok, so there is obviously more to it than that, but bolting on an induction kit can increase your cars power from 1-2bhp, up to 15bhp (rolling road proven!!) With modern ECU's you don't have to re-map or tune the engine, just bolt the kit on! Even a replacement element alone can add a couple of horses, and you never have to replace it, so they quickly pay for themselves. For the maximum power, you can go for a K&N typhoon kit, or an enclosed intake system like the BMC CDA kits maximising cold air intake.

Performance exhausts are a great way to improve the power, and sound of your car! Even with just a sports exhaust back box, your car can sound like it means business and have a noticeable improvement in power. For the maximum power increase though, a full exhaust system is the way forward. Sports cat, or de-cat pipe (not road legal) and tubular manifold give further power gains. Free flowing exhausts get the gases out of the engine quicker, and help improve power and acceleration, especially at higher revs.
Upgrading your brakes is vital if you have increased your cars power! It is all very well accelerating like an Aston Martin, but if you stop like a shopping trolley, you are going to be in trouble. This actuator is designed for the Vauxhall Calibra turbo.
Manufactured from Billet aluminium, this Forge adjustable actuator is a two part assembly that will allow servicing and mainteinance. It also allows for rod adjustment to suit the customers individual application. Laser cut stainless steel brackets ensure OEM like fitment
This product is built with a predetermined actuator spring suitable for at or slightly above factory boost levels. The actuator can be assembled with a stiffer spring upon request. Please contact us directly concerning this process.
Please note that this actuator requires the use of the original OEM actuator bracket which will require cutting off your existing actuator. Forge's replacement is then fitted by two securing studs / nuts which are supplied
While Forge Motorsport is happy to supply you with an actuator capable of holding boost beyond that of your factory unit Forge are in no way capable of knowing nor suggesting that your vehicle's engine or related systems are capable of supporting or surviving the stresses of such elevated boost pressure.
After requests for a very durable, fit and forget version of Forge's actuators that would withstand the rigors of marine corrosion or simply would not tarnish, Forge have now added the option of ordering any of Forge's piston design actuators with stainless steel bodies and external components/fixings. This option does incur a surcharge and will be shown when added to your basket.
