Air filters are the first step to tuning any engine. The principle is simple, the more air you get in the engine, the more power you get out. Ok, so there is obviously more to it than that, but bolting on an induction kit can increase your cars power from 1-2bhp, up to 15bhp (rolling road proven!!) With modern ECU's you don't have to re-map or tune the engine, just bolt the kit on! Even a replacement element alone can add a couple of horses, and you never have to replace it, so they quickly pay for themselves. For the maximum power, you can go for a K&N typhoon kit, or an enclosed intake system like the BMC CDA kits maximising cold air intake.

Performance exhausts are a great way to improve the power, and sound of your car! Free flowing exhausts get the gases out of the engine quicker, and help improve power and acceleration, especially at higher revs.

Subaru Impreza WRX and STI Performance Aluminium Fan Shroud Kit
Mishimoto has developed a direct-fit aluminium fan shroud kit for the 1993–2000 Subaru WRX/STI. The Mishimoto aluminium fan shroud is significantly lighter than the factory shroud and will improve engine functions and overall cooling efficiency. Whether your Subaru is stuck in traffic or idling in the staging lines for the next run down the strip, you need an appropriate and effective fan setup. The Mishimoto aluminium fan shroud kit will provide substantial airflow for proper regulation of coolant temperature. As with all Mishimoto products, this fan shroud kit includes our signature lifetime warranty.
All Mishimoto aluminium fan shrouds include an adhesive protective strip. This adhesive-backed foam strip seals any remaining gap between the fan shroud and radiator so that the fans are only moving air that has passed through the radiator core as opposed to pulling in air from the engine bay, resulting in improved cooling efficiency.

The connections for these fans will require hard wiring into the vehicle existing fan wiring, the plugs are not vehicle specific.All Mishimoto fan shrouds are significantly lighter than standard fan shrouds. In maintaining the life of your engine, it is ideal to keep your engine running cool. A Mishimoto fan shroud will notably improve engine cooling performance by delivering more air to the radiator and driving out excess heat. The fan shroud will also secure the fan blades in place, which will prevent damage to other essential components in your engine.
