Nitrac Performance Brake Discs
Nitrac Brake Discs are unlike other performance brake discs. The unique feature of NITRAC discs is that they are all put through a process called Deep Cryogenic Treatment or DCT for short. DCT is an extension to normal heat treatment processes using extreme cold rather than heat. The effect of the treatment on a cast iron brake disc is to change the crystalline structure of the metal itself producing a finer and more consistent grain. This makes the discs considerably tougher than an untreated disc, which means that they are longer lasting (by a factor of 2-300%), much, much more resistant to warping and cracking. You also get improvements in thermodynamic performance, which means less brake fade.
